The heart is the center of the cardiovascular system. Through the body’s blood vessels, the heart pumps blood to all of the body’s cells. The blood carries oxygen, which the cells need. Cardiovascular disease is a group of problems that occur when the heart and blood vessels aren’t working the way they should.
Cause of heart disease
Low red blood cell count (severe anemia) – When there aren’t enough red blood cells to carry oxygen, the heart tries to move the small number of cells at a faster heart rate. It can become overtaxed from the effort.
Emotional stress – Emotional stress is generally the kind of stress people are talking about when they refer to stress causing heart disease. “It’s no wonder she died,” you’ll hear people say, “with all the mess he put her through.” But is it true? Types of heart disease

The leaking of the valves can be due to bacterial infection or inflammation of a valve, excessive floppiness of the leaflets and the enlargement of the heart. When this happens, the heart is forced to work harder, to try to get the oxygen-rich blood to the rest of your body, and you may experience chest pains, shortness of breath, dizziness, become easily fatigued, or experience other symptoms. Mostly, the aortic and mistral valves are most often affected.
Cardiovascular disease:
Cardiovascular disease is any of a number of specific diseases that affect the heart itself and/or the blood vessel system, especially the veins and arteries leading to and from the heart.
Lack Of Blood.:The heart relies on a consistent flow of oxygenated blood and smokers often cannot deliver the oxygen to the blood. Blood picks up oxygen in the lungs and if they are filled with smoke and toxins, the blood delivered to the heart may be oxygen deficient, causing one of the types of heart disease, called ischemic heart disease.
Aneurysms:
Healthy arteries are flexible and elastic. When an artery becomes damaged, it losses its elasticity. Instead of retaining its smooth cylindrical shape, the artery may develop a bulge, called an aneurysm. Having lost its elasticity and strength the damaged artery may rupture, much like a balloon that has too much air in it.
